The composition
Created by Bertrand Duchaufour for The Essences, Reasons uses sandalwood and oakwood infusion processes, with six months of ageing followed by maceration.
What makes Reasons different?
Its nutty opening and resinous woods give it a distinctive character. The 30% perfume-oil concentration and extended infusion process distinguish it from a conventional eau de parfum.
Reasons or Outlands?
Choose Reasons for its hazelnut-and-spice opening and smoky palo santo character. Outlands begins with citrus and develops into patchouli, frankincense and amber. Both belong to The Essences collection; comparing them is a useful way to explore two different interpretations of warm, resinous fragrance.
