Start with what you drink, how many you serve and whether you want an individual piece or a coordinated set.

Tea cup, espresso cup or mug?

An espresso cup suits a short coffee; a tea cup gives more room for tea and milk. Choose a lungo cup or mug for a longer drink. Before pairing cups with a coffee machine, compare the product’s capacity and height with your preferred drink size and the machine’s clearance.

Does a tea set include the teapot?

Not always. Diva Tea Set of 2 contains two cups and two saucers; the Diva teapot is separate. The Bernardaud Constance and Kintsugi Sarkis tea sets featured here include a small teapot, two mugs, a sugar bowl and a creamer.

How do I build a service for six?

Start with six cups and six matching saucers, or three two-person cup-and-saucer sets. Add a teapot of suitable capacity, a sugar bowl and a creamer. The small two-cup teapots in the featured Bernardaud sets are intended for a smaller service; contact us to plan larger gatherings.

Are the cups and saucers sold together?

The featured Ginori Diva and Nettuno sets include their saucers. The white Vecchio Ginori and Antico Doccia cups and saucers are separate products. Saint-Louis Folia sets use a wooden tray instead of porcelain saucers.

Can decorated porcelain and crystal go in the dishwasher?

Follow the instructions for the exact collection and finish. Gold, platinum, silver-plated pieces, crystal and wooden trays can require different care. Our team can help confirm the instructions for your selection.
